O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your decree concerning me prevails. Your judgment of me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or that You have taught to any of Your creation, or that You have sent down in Your Book, or that You have retained in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Quran the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the reliever of my anxiety.
In Your Name, my Lord, I lay down my side, and in Your Name, I rise. If You seize my soul, then have mercy on it, and if You release it, then protect it with what You protect Your righteous servants.
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from His anger and His punishment, and from the evil of His servants, and from the whisperings of the devils and from their presence.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and acceptable deeds.
All praise is due to Allah, by whose grace good deeds are completed.
O Allah, bless that which You have provided for us, and forgive us and have mercy on us.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and acceptable deeds.
In the name of Allah, with Whose name nothing can cause harm on earth nor in the heavens, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
Glory be to Him Who has subjected this (transport) to us, and we could never have accomplished it by ourselves. And surely, to our Lord we are returning. O Allah, we ask You on this journey of ours for righteousness and piety, and for such deeds as are pleasing to You. O Allah, make this journey easy for us and make its distance short for us. O Allah, You are the Companion in the journey and the Successor in the family. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardships of the journey, from seeing a wretched sight (in my return), and from the evil turn in my property and my family.
O Allah, forgive him and have mercy upon him, and grant him well-being and pardon him. And honour his reception, and make spacious his entrance. And cleanse him with water, snow, and hail. And purify him from sins as a white garment is purified from filth. And give him a home better than his home, and a family better than his family, and a spouse better than his spouse. And admit him to Paradise, and protect him from the punishment of the grave and the punishment of the Fire.
Our Lord, pour upon us patience and plant firmly our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from hunger, for it is a terrible companion; and I seek refuge in You from treachery, for it is a terrible inner trait.
