O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself by, or revealed to any of Your creation, or sent down in Your Book, or kept in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, and a banisher of my grief, and a reliever of my anxiety.
My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and [with] my offspring, our Lord, and accept [my] supplication. Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers the Day the account is established.
In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing on earth or in the heavens can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, pure provision, and deeds that are accepted.
O Allah, help me to remember You, to thank You, and to worship You in the best manner.
All praise is due to Allah, [praiseworthy] praise abundant, pure, and blessed, [praise] that is never insufficient, never bid farewell, and from which our Lord is never independent.
O Allah, guide me to the best of character, for none can guide to the best of it except You. And divert me from bad character, for none can divert from bad it except You.
In the name of Allah, I seek refuge in Allah from the evil of those who practice witchcraft and from the evil of the envier when he envies.
O Allah, indeed I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is inevitable, and Your justice in my case is an evidence. I ask You by every name belonging to You, which You have revealed in Your Book, or You have taught to any one of Your creation, or You have kept exclusively for Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, and the light of my chest, and a departure for my sadness and a remover of my worries.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from being overwhelmed by debt and overcome by men (in authority).
Glory be to Him Who has subjected this (transportation) to us, and we could never have accomplished it by ourselves. And to our Lord we will certainly return. O Allah, we ask You for righteousness and piety in our journey, and for deeds that please You. O Allah, make this journey easy for us and shorten its distance for us. O Allah, You are the Companion on the journey and the Successor among the family. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardships of the journey, from a sorrowful sight, and from the bad turn in property and family.
O Allah, make this sanctuary of Yours a true sanctuary with Your sacred law. Make the remembrance of You prominent within it. Make my heart humble within it, and make it a place of forgiveness for me. O Allah, open to me the doors of Your mercy.
