O Allah, I seek guidance from Your knowledge, and strength from Your power, and I ask of Your immense favour. For You have power, and I have no power; You have knowledge, and I have no knowledge; and You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah, if You know that this matter – name it: (my treatment/my health/my illness) – is good for me in my religion, my livelihood, and my Hereafter (or: for my present and future), then ordain it for me, make it easy for me, and bless it for me. And if You know that this matter – name it: (my treatment/my health/my illness) – is bad for me in my religion, my livelihood, and my Hereafter (or: for my present and future), then turn it away from me, and turn me away from it, and ordain for me whatever is good, and make me content with it.
O Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy.
Praise is to Allah who brought us back to life after causing us to die, and to Him is the resurrection.
O Allah, I ask of Your bounty.
O Allah, make it a blessed Hajj and a deed for which You are thanked.
O Allah, I seek guidance from Your knowledge, and seek power from Your might, and I ask of Your abundant grace. For You have power, and I have no power; You have knowledge, and I have no knowledge; and You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah, if You know that this matter (mention the matter here, e.g., 'engaging in a specific dawah campaign') is good for me in my religion, my livelihood, and my Hereafter – or he said: for my present and my future – then ordain it for me, make it easy for me, and bless it for me. And if You know that this matter is evil for me in my religion, my livelihood, and my Hereafter – or he said: for my present and my future – then turn it away from me and turn me away from it, and ordain for me whatever is good, and make me pleased with it.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, pure provision, and deeds that are accepted.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief. I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness. I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess. I seek refuge in You from the overwhelming of debt and the subjugation of men.
O Allah, forgive me my sin, all of it, the small and the great, the first and the last, the apparent and the secret.
In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah. And there is no might nor power except with Allah.
O Allah, indeed I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your judgment upon me is realised, and Your decision concerning me is just. I ask You by every name belonging to You, which You have named Yourself with, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any one of Your creation, or kept exclusively to Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the remover of my anxieties.
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.
