O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and the oppression of men.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, and from the evil of my sight, and from the evil of my tongue, and from the evil of my heart, and from the evil of my seminal fluid.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from being crushed to death, I seek refuge in You from falling from a height, I seek refuge in You from drowning, from burning, from extreme old age, and I seek refuge in You from being tormented by Shaytan at the time of death, and I seek refuge in You from dying while retreating from battle (in Your cause), and I seek refuge in You from dying from a poisonous sting.
Glory be to You, O Allah, and praise be to You. Blessed be Your name, and exalted be Your majesty. There is no god but You.
O Allah, I ask You for the best of entrance and the best of exit. In Allah's name we enter, and in Allah's name we leave, and in Allah our Lord we place our trust. O Allah, open for us the doors of Your mercy and forgiveness.
O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the punishment of the grave, and from the punishment of Hellfire, and from the trials of life and death, and from the evil of the trial of the False Messiah (Dajjal).
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, and cast his love into the heart of this newborn, and remind him of his scent, and make him among those who follow him.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your judgment is against me. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or kept unto Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen which is with You, that You make the Quran the delight of my heart, and the light of my chest, the remover of my sadness, and the banisher of my worries.
"My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house as a believer and the believing men and believing women."
All praise is due to Allah, [being] an abundant, pure, blessed praise, that is not insufficient, nor is it to be left, nor is it dispensable, O our Lord.
O Allah, suffice me with Your lawful provision against Your unlawful provision, and enrich me by Your grace, so that I may not need anyone other than You.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the disappearance of Your blessings, and the reversal of the wellness You granted, and the suddenness of Your punishment, and all that displeases You. I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow. I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness. I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess. I seek refuge in You from the overwhelming of debt and the overpowering of men.
