"O Allah, suffice me with Your lawful provision instead of Your unlawful provision, and enrich me with Your grace so that I may not need anyone but You."
O Allah, I seek guidance from Your knowledge, and seek power from Your power, and I ask for Your immense bounty. For indeed You have power, and I have no power; You have knowledge, and I have no knowledge; and You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah, if You know that this matter (mention your need here: e.g., 'this starting of the habit of reading the Quran daily' or 'this quitting of a bad habit') is good for me in my religion, my livelihood, and my Hereafter (or he said: 'in my present and future affairs'), then decree it for me, make it easy for me, and bless it for me. But if You know that this matter is bad for me in my religion, my livelihood, and my Hereafter (or he said: 'in my present and future affairs'), then turn it away from me and turn me away from it, and decree for me whatever is good and make me content with it.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardships of travel, from a sorrowful homecoming, from returning to a worse state after having been in a good state, from the supplication of the oppressed, and from seeing misfortune in my family and my property.
O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and contentment.
O Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, our Lord and the Lord of all things, the Cleaver of the grain and the date-stone, the Revealer of the Torah, the Gospel, and the Qur'an. I seek refuge in You from the evil of every creature that You are seizing by its forelock. O Allah, You are the First, so there is nothing before You; You are the Last, so there is nothing after You; You are the Most显 (az-Zahir), so there is nothing above You; You are the Most Hidden (al-Batin), so there is nothing nearer than You. Discharge our debt and make us free from want.
O Allah, I ask You for the goodness of this journey and the goodness of what is in it, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this journey and the evil of what is in it. O Allah, make the earth easy for me (i.e., shorten the distance) and make the journey easy for me.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is enacted. Your decision concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to anyone from Your creation, or sent down in Your Book, or kept in Your knowledge of the unseen, that You make the Quran the springtime of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the reliever of my distress.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the overwhelming of debt and the subjugation of men.
Glory be to Allah, and praise be to Allah, and there is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest.
O Allah, forgive me for what I have sent forth and what I have delayed, what I have concealed and what I have revealed, what I have extravagance in, and what You know better than I. You are the Advancer and the Delayer. There is no god but You.
In the name of Allah, I rely on Allah. There is no might nor power except with Allah. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from straying or being led astray, from slipping or causing others to slip, from wronging or being wronged, from acting foolishly or being treated foolishly.
I seek Your forgiveness. All praise is due to Allah, Who removed from me the harm and granted me well-being.
