O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any one of Your creation, or kept unto Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen which You possess, to make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the reliever of my anxiety.
O Allah, I ask You for its [the wind's] good and the good of what it contains, and the good of what it was sent with. And I seek refuge in You from its evil and the evil of what it contains, and the evil of what it was sent with.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, and I seek refuge in You from the trial of the Dajjal, and I seek refuge in You from the trial of life and death. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of my sight, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of my tongue, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of my heart, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of my semen (or desires/procreative power).
O Allah, there is no ease except what You make easy. You make the difficult easy if You wish.

I ask You by every Name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to anyone in Your creation, or You taught to any of Your creation, or You have preserved in Your knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the remover of my worries.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and the subjugation of men.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and acceptable deeds.
O Allah, I ask You of Your Grace, for indeed, no one possesses it except You.
I only complain of my anguish and my sorrow to Allah, and I know from Allah that which you do not know.
O Allah, I ask You for steadfastness in all matters, and resolve in acting righteously. I ask You to enable me to be grateful for Your blessings and to worship You in the best manner. I ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue. I seek refuge in You from the evil of all that You know. I ask You for the good of all that You know, and I seek Your forgiveness for all that You know. Verily, You are the Knower of the unseen.
O Allah, I ask You to enable me to do good deeds, and to abandon evil deeds, and to love the poor, and that You forgive me and have mercy on me. And if You intend to try Your creation with tribulation, then take me to Yourself without subjecting me to it. I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds which bring me closer to Your love.
Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we forget or make mistakes. Our Lord, and do not place upon us a burden [as] You placed upon those before us. Our Lord, and do not burden us with that for which we have no endurance. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people.
