All praise is due to Allah, who gave us life after causing us to die, and to Him is the resurrection.
O Allah, guide me to the best of characters, for no one can guide to the best of them except You. And turn me away from bad characters, for no one can turn away from the bad of them except You.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective, and Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every Name that You have named Yourself with, or revealed to anyone in Your creation, or sent down in Your Book, or kept hidden in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Quran the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the remover of my sadness, and the banisher of my anxieties.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, pure provision, and acceptable deeds.
O Allah, suffice me with Your lawful provision instead of Your unlawful, and make me independent of all others by Your grace.
My Lord, establish prayer for me and [also] my offspring. Our Lord, accept [my] supplication.
"O Allah, I seek Your forgiveness. All praise is due to Allah, Who removed from me the hardship and granted me well-being."
O Allah, open for me the gates of Your mercy.
In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing can cause harm on earth nor in the heavens, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is forever executed. Your judgment on me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or kept to Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen that is with You, to make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the remover of my anxiety.
O Allah, You are my Lord, there is none worthy of worship but You. You created me, and I am Your slave, and I am abiding by Your covenant and promise as much as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have committed. I acknowledge Your favour upon me and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for none forgives sins except You.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your handmaiden. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any one of Your creation, or kept exclusively unto Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen which You possess, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the reliever of my anxiety.
