O Allah, I ask You from Your Grace.
Glory be to Him Who has subjected this to us, and we could not have done it ourselves. And to our Lord, surely, we are returning. O Allah, we ask You for righteousness and piety in our this journey of ours, and for deeds that please You. O Allah, make this journey easy for us and make its distance short for us. O Allah, You are the Companion on the journey and the Successor among the family. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardship of the journey, and from the evil of seeing that which would sadden me, and from the evil of turning back to my wealth and my family.
O Allah, guide us and set us on the right path, remind us of the truth and help us to adhere to it, and remind us of falsehood and turn us away from it.
All praise is due to Allah, who removed from me the harm and granted me well-being.
O Allah, make him/her blessed, guide him/her, and accept him/her from me with good acceptance.
O Allah, I seek Your guidance with Your knowledge, and Your power with Your might, and I ask of Your boundless grace. For indeed, You have power, and I have no power; You have knowledge, and I have no knowledge; and You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah, if You know that this matter (name your need: moving to a specific place) is good for me in my religion, my livelihood, and my final destiny (or: in my present and future affairs), then decree it for me, make it easy for me, and bless it for me. And if You know that this matter is bad for me in my religion, my livelihood, and my final destiny (or: in my present and future affairs), then turn it away from me, and turn me away from it, and decree for me whatever is good, and make me content with it.
In the name of Allah, with the soil of our land, and the saliva of some of us, may our sick be healed by the permission of our Lord.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is executed. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or have taught to any one of Your creation, or have revealed in Your Book, or have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Quran the springtime of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the reliever of my worries.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the disappearance of Your blessings, the turning away of Your well-being, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all that You are displeased with. I seek refuge in You from the trials of loved ones, and from the evil of companions. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have brought, and from the evil of what I have not brought. I seek refuge in You from being left to myself, or being left to someone better than myself, or being left to someone other than myself. I seek refuge in You from misguiding error and misleading guidance. I seek refuge in You from followed desires and followed opinions. I seek refuge in You from the hardship of affliction, the attainment of misery, evil decree, and the rejoicing of enemies. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I know and the evil of what I do not know, from the evil of what I conceal and the evil of what I reveal. I seek refuge in You from the evil of the things that are most feared by me, and from the evil of all that You have created. I seek refuge in You from the disappearance of Your blessings, the turning away of Your well-being, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all that You are displeased with. I seek refuge in You from being left to myself, or being left to someone other than myself.
O Allah, You created me, and You give me my form. You feed me and You give me to drink. You cause me to die and You give me life. You will show me the good, and You fear (the consequences) for me of fate. So forgive me and the first of me and the last of me. And unite our hearts, and make our affair right, and reform the mutual hatred between us, and guide us to the paths of peace, and deliver us from the darkness to the light, and keep us away from indecencies, the apparent and the hidden from us, just as You have kept the east and the west far apart. O Allah, make faith beloved to us and adorn it in our hearts, and make disbelief, and wickedness, and disobedience hateful to us, and make us among the rightly guided.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the cessation of Your blessings, the reversal of Your well-being, the suddenness of Your wrath, and all of Your displeasure.
O Allah, You created me and fashioned me, You taught me the Book and the accounting, You brought me the Islam, and You entrusted me with my affair. You created me with a good appearance. So, will I not ponder Your creation and be thankful? O Allah, just as You have made my outward form beautiful, so make my character beautiful, and protect me until You are pleased with me.
