O Allah, suffice me with Your lawful provision instead of Your unlawful provision, and enrich me with Your bounty so I am in no need of anyone other than You.
O Allah, bless us in what You have provided us, suffice us against those who can bear it [meaning, grant us enough for our needs and don't make us reliant on others for our basic sustenance], and do not make our transgressions have supporters, and do not give power over us to those who do not have mercy on us.
With Your name, my Lord, I lie down and with Your name I rise. If You should take my soul, then have mercy upon it. And if You should return my soul, then protect it with what You protect Your righteous servants.
O Allah, I ask You for a soul that is at peace with You, that believes in meeting You, and is content with Your decree, and satisfied with Your provision.
O Allah, suffice me with Your lawful provision instead of Your unlawful provision, and enrich me by Your grace, so that I may not need help from anyone other than You.
O Allah, make beneficial for me what You have taught me, teach me that which will benefit me, and increase me in knowledge.
O Allah, open to us Your wisdom and spread upon us Your mercy and remind us of the mention of You. O Allah, lead us out from the darkness of doubt and honour us with the light of understanding, and open to us the doors of Your knowledge, and adorn us with Your forbearance. Make us worthy of Your remembrance and worthy of Your gratitude, and make us beloved to obey You, and inspire us to fulfill Your right which is incumbent upon us. Verily, You are Most Capable of all things.
O Allah, it is Your mercy that I hope for. So do not leave me to myself for even the blink of an eye, and set all my affairs right for me. There is no god but You.
All praise is for Allah Who restored my health in my body, returned my soul to me, and granted me permission to remember Him.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from being overwhelmed by debt and overpowered by men.
Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither slumber nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi (Throne) extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.
All praise is for Allah, Who revived us after He caused us to die, and to Him is the resurrection.
