O Allah, indeed I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your judgment upon me is inevitable. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or taught to any one of Your creation, or revealed in Your Book, or kept in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, and the light of my chest, and a banisher of my sadness, and a reliever of my anxiety.
Glory be to Allah and praise be to Him. O Allah, I ask You from Your bounty.
O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and self-sufficiency.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is effective. Your judgment upon me is just. I ask You by every Name that You have called Yourself, or taught to any one of Your creation, or revealed in Your Book, or have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the guide away from my worries, and an aid for me against [my desires], and a fighter against my enemies, and a guide for me to Paradise, and a driver away from the Hellfire (by which what is lawful and unlawful is distinguished).
O Allah, I ask You for its (the wife's/marriage's) goodness and the goodness of what You have created it with, and I seek refuge in You from its evil and the evil of what You have created it with.
I seek forgiveness from Allah, than whom there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer, and I turn to Him in repentance.
O Allah, forgive me my sin, all of it, the minor and the major, the first and the last, the apparent and the secret.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, from a heart that does not fear You, from a soul that is never satisfied, and from a prayer that is not answered.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, pure provision, and accepted deeds.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and accepted deeds.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and deeds accepted [by You].
Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
