Duas related to traveling
To Allah we belong and to Him we return. O Allah, You have restored to me what I lost and guided me to it. So make it beneficial for me and help me with it. O Allah, there is no preventer of what You give, and no giver of what You withhold, and no wealth can benefit a wealthy person against You. O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for Your forgiveness and Your well-being in my religion, my worldly affairs, my family, and my property.
O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and contentment.
O Allah, I ask You for its goodness, the goodness of its people, and the goodness of whatever is within it. And I seek refuge in You from its evil, the evil of its people, and the evil of whatever is within it.
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.
O Allah, I ask You for righteousness and piety in this journey of mine, and for deeds that please You. O Allah, make this journey easy for us and shorten its distance for us. O Allah, You are the Companion on the journey and the Guardian of the family. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardships of the journey, the sorrow of seeing [something unpleasant], and the evil misfortune in wealth and family upon returning. And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, from the trial of the grave, the punishment of the grave, the trial of the Fire, and the punishment of the Fire, and the evil of the trial of wealth, and the evil of the trial of poverty.
He descended to the ground and said: 'I seek refuge in Allah from its evil, and I seek refuge in Allah from its good, and I seek refuge in Allah from the evil and what descends therein, and I seek refuge in Allah from Satan and what emerges from it, and I seek refuge in Allah from snakes, scorpions, and the crawling creatures of the earth, and from its heat and its cold.'
Glory be to Him Who has subjected this to us, and we could never have accomplished it by ourselves. And indeed, to our Lord we will certainly return. O Allah, we ask You for righteousness and taqwa (piety) in our journey, and for deeds that please You. O Allah, make this journey easy for us and make its distance short for us. O Allah, You are the Companion on the journey and the one in charge of the family. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardships of the journey, the unpleasant sight, and evil consequences in wealth and family.
O Allah, I ask You to enable me to do good deeds and abandon evil deeds, and to make me loved by You, and to forgive me and have mercy upon me. And if You intend to test Your creation with temptation, then take me to Yourself without having been tested.
We are returning, repenting, worshipping, and praising our Lord.
O Allah, I ask You for the best of this journey and the best of what it contains, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this journey and the evil of what it contains.
O Allah, I ask You for righteousness and piety in this journey of mine, and for deeds that please You. O Allah, guide me to the right path. O Allah, You are the Companion on the journey and the Protector of the family. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardships of the journey, the sorrow of seeing [troubling things], and from turning to evil concerning my wealth and family.
O Allah, fulfill for me the trust (amanah), pay off my debt, and bring my life to a close with righteous deeds.
