نَزَلَ بِالْأَرْضِ، فَقَالَ: أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ شَرِّهَا، وَأَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ خَيْرِ مَا فِيهَا، وَأَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ الشَّرِّ وَمَا أُنْزِلَ فِيهَا، وَأَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ الشَّيْطَانِ وَمَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا، وَأَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ حَيَّاتٍ وَعَقَارِبٍ وَهَوَامِّ الْأَرْضِ، وَمِنْ حَرِّهَا وَقَرِّهَا.
He descended to the ground and said: 'I seek refuge in Allah from its evil, and I seek refuge in Allah from its good, and I seek refuge in Allah from the evil and what descends therein, and I seek refuge in Allah from Satan and what emerges from it, and I seek refuge in Allah from snakes, scorpions, and the crawling creatures of the earth, and from its heat and its cold.'
Nazala bil-arḍi, fa qāla: A'udhu billahi min sharrihā, wa a'udhu billahi min khairi mā fīhā, wa a'udhu billahi min ash-sharri wa mā unzila fīhā, wa a'udhu billahi min ash-shayṭāni wa mā yakhruju minhā, wa a'udhu billahi min ḥayyātin wa 'aqāribin wa hawāmmi al-arḍi, wa min ḥarrihā wa qarrhā.
