Duas for reliance on Allah and strengthening tawakkul
O Allah, the Restorer of the lost, and the Guide of the lost, guide me to my lost item, and return it to me by Your power and authority.
Verily we belong to Allah, and verily to Him do we return. O Allah, reward me in this calamity and compensate me with something better than it.
O Allah, make the widest of Your provisions for me upon old age and at the end of my life. O Allah, make the best of my deeds its conclusion, and the best of my days the day I meet You.
O Allah, I ask You for the success of the guided, the resolve of the patient, the performance of the God-conscious, the hope of the contented, the asceticism of the desirous, the knowledge of the fearful, and the understanding of the scrupulous. O Allah, protect me from the accursed devil, honor me with guidance and success, guide my steps, and help me remember You, thank You, and worship You well. O Allah, grant me a sound heart and a truthful tongue. I seek refuge in You from doubts. I ask that You love me and love those who love You, and inspire me to fear You to the extent that I act like one who fears You. And make me grateful to You and ever-remembering of You. O Allah, I ask You for mercy from You that guides my heart, gathers my scattered affairs, fulfills my needs, perfects my deeds, brings me to my hopes, and aids me in my patience. O Allah, I ask You to enable me to do good deeds and abandon evil deeds, and to love the poor. And forgive me, have mercy upon me. And if You decree a trial for Your creation, then take me to Yourself without having fallen into it.
Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and acceptable deeds.
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from His anger and His punishment, and from the evil of His servants, and from the temptations of devils, and from their presence.
O Allah, I ask You to enable me to do good deeds and to abandon evil deeds, and to love the poor. I ask You to forgive me and have mercy on me. And if You intend to try a people, then take me to Yourself (in death) without having been tried. I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of any deed that will bring me closer to Your love.
O Allah, suffice me against them with whatever You wish.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is forever executed. Your judgment upon me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, by which You have revealed it in Your Book, or You have taught it to any of Your creation, or which You have kept unto Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, and the light of my chest, and a banisher of my grief, and a remover of my worries.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is inevitable. Your judgment concerning me is just. I ask You by every Name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to any of Your creation, or sent down in Your Book, or have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the remover of my anxieties.
