Duas for reliance on Allah and strengthening tawakkul
Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs.
Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective. Your judgment upon me is just. I ask You by every name You have called Yourself, or taught to any one of Your creation, or revealed in Your Book, or have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the delight of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the driver away of my worries.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from being overwhelmed by debt and from the overpowering of men.
O Allah, I ask You for its (the woman's) goodness and the goodness of what You have decreed for her, and I seek refuge in You from its evil and the evil of what You have decreed for her.
O Allah, Lord of the heavens and the earth, Lord of all things. The Cleaver of the grain and the date-stone, the Revealer of the Torah, the Gospel, and the Qur'an. I seek refuge in You from the evil of every evil-doer, the forelock of whom You seize. O Allah, You are the First, and there is nothing before You. You are the Last, and there is nothing after You. You are the Evident, and there is nothing above You. You are the Hidden, and there is nothing nearer than You. Discharged my debt and enrich me from poverty.
O Allah, I ask You for a soul that is at peace with You, that believes in meeting You, and is content with Your decree, and satisfied with Your provision.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective. Your judgment upon me is just. I ask You by every name belonging to You, which You have named Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or have kept secret in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the delight of my heart, and the light of my chest, and a banisher of my grief, and a reliever of my anxiety.
O Turner of the hearts, keep my heart firm upon Your religion.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, pure provision, and accepted deeds.
There is no god but You; glory be to You! Indeed, I have been among the wrongdoers.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or that You have taught to anyone from Your creation, or that You have sent down in Your Book, or that You have retained in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, and the light of my chest, and a banisher of my sadness and a reliever of my anxiety.
