Duas for reliance on Allah and strengthening tawakkul
O Allah, suffice me with what You have made lawful, and enrich me with Your bounty, so that I may not need to seek from anyone but You.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardship of affliction, from the lowest of misery, from a wicked decree, and from the rejoicing of enemies.
Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we will return.
Glory be to Him Who has subjected this to us, and we could never have accomplished it by ourselves. And indeed, to our Lord we will return.
Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief. I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness. I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess. I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and the overpowering of men.
O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and contentment.
O Ever-Living, O Self-Subsisting Sustainer, by Your mercy I seek help. Rectify for me all of my affairs and do not entrust me to myself for even the span of an eye-blink.
O Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, our Lord and Lord of everything, the One who causes the grain and date seeds to split, the Revealer of the Tawrah, the Injil, and the Furqan. I seek refuge in You from the evil of every creature You are seizing by its forelock. O Allah, You are the First, so there is nothing before You; You are the Last, so there is nothing after You; You are the Apparent, so there is nothing above You; You are the Hidden, so there is nothing nearer than You. Settle our debts for us and enrich us from poverty.
O Allah, I ask You for patience with Your decree, contentment after death, a happy life, martyrdom, victory with mercy, goodly life, abundant provision, beneficial knowledge, accepted deeds, and an answered prayer. O Allah, Amen.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your judgment upon me is inevitable. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or taught to anyone of Your creation, or revealed in Your Book, or have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the reliever of my anxiety.
Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.
