Dua for Trusting Allah's Support When Faced with the Guilt of Past Mistakes

Trust in Allah
Sahih HadithSahih Muslim 771

O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is inevitable, and Your judgment concerning me is just. I ask You by every Name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or kept unto Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen that You have. Make the Quran the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, and a remover of my sadness, and a banisher of my anxiety.

Allahumma inni 'abduka, ibnu 'abdika, ibnu amatik, nasiyati biyadika, madin fiyya hukmuka, 'adlun fiyya qada'uka, as'aluka bikulli ismin huwa lak, sammayta bihi nafsak, aw anzaltahu fi kitabiik, aw 'allamtahu ahadan min khalqik, aw ista'tharta bihi fi 'ilm-il-ghaybi 'indak, an taj'ala al-Qur'ana rabi'a qalbi, wa nura sadri, wa jila'a huzni, wa dhahaba hammi.
