Duas for spouse and marriage
Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers the Day the account is established.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and acceptable deeds.
O Allah, make my husband/wife among those who, when You bestow blessings upon them, they are grateful; when You test them, they are patient; when You cause them to die, they acknowledge; when they speak, they speak the truth; they strive in Your obedience; they preserve Your favors; and they become independent through Your remembrance. Inspire them to be thankful for Your bounties, clothe them with the garment of Your well-being, suffice them from the evil of what You decree, and assist them in fulfilling Your rights.
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.
O Allah, I ask You for a righteous spouse, patient with my flaws and shortcomings, who loves me for Your noble sake, who helps me obey You, reminds me when I am heedless, and assists me when I remember (You).
My Lord, expand for me my breast, and make my task easy for me, and untie the knot from my tongue so they may understand my speech.
O Allah, guide the heart of my spouse, and make him/her steadfast upon Your religion, and make him/her among the rightly guided. O Allah, suffice him/her with what You have made lawful, instead of what You have made unlawful, and enrich him/her with Your bounty over all besides You.
Our Lord, grant us from among our spouses and our offspring comfort for our eyes and make us an example for the righteous.
In the name of Allah, who with His name nothing can cause harm on earth nor in the heavens, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and acceptable deeds.
Our Lord, bestow upon us from our Lord sustenance from heaven, which will be a festival for us and for those after us and a sign from You. And provide for us, for You are the best of providers.
O Allah, guide the hearts of our spouses, soften their tongues, and make them among those who listen to speech and follow the best of it.
