This powerful dua is perfect for reciting daily as a protection for your spouse, especially if you fear any influence of sorcery, the evil eye, or general harm. You can make it a part of your morning or evening remembrance, or recite it anytime you feel a need for extra protection for them.

How to Read

Make sincere intention for your spouse's well-being and protection. Recite the dua with conviction and focus on Allah's power. Virtues & Benefits

This supplication, when recited with sincerity, shields the person from all types of harm, whether it originates from the earth or the heavens. It is a comprehensive shield against physical ailments, spiritual afflictions, and the malevolent effects of magic and sorcery. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ mentioned its efficacy: 'Whoever says this three times in the morning, will not be afflicted by any calamity until the evening; and whoever says it three times in the evening, will not be afflicted by any calamity until the morning.' (Sunan Abi Dawud 3869). This implies a broad protection that encompasses all forms of evil, including sorcery.

Sunan Abi Dawud 3869. The hadith has a similar narration in Sunan Ibn Majah 3548.
