Duas to recite before going to sleep
In the name of Allah, I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from His anger and His punishment, and from the evil of His servants, and from the whisperings of devils and their attendance.
O Allah, suffice me with what You have made lawful, instead of what You have made unlawful, and enrich me with Your bounty, so that I shall not need to ask of anyone but You.
In the name of Allah. I seek refuge in the Lord of the daybreak, from the evil of all that He has created, and from the evil of the night when it deepens, and from the evil of those who practice witchcraft, and from the evil of the envious when he envies. In the name of Allah. I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, the King of mankind, the God of mankind, from the evil of the whispering deceiver, who whispers into the chests of mankind, (whether he be) from among the jinn or mankind.
O Allah, I ask of You Your pleasure and Paradise, and I seek refuge in You from Your displeasure and the Fire. In Your name, O Allah, I die and live.
In Your name, my Lord, I lie down and in Your name I rise. If You should take my soul, then have mercy upon it. And if You should return it, then protect it with what You protect Your righteous servants.
In the name of Allah, I seek refuge in the might of Allah and in His power from the evil of what I feel and what I fear.
By Your name, my Lord, I lay down my side, and by Your name I raise it. If You keep my soul, have mercy on it. If You send it back, protect it with what You protect Your righteous servants.
In Your name, my Lord, I lay down my side, and in Your name I raise it. If You should take my soul, then have mercy upon it. And if You should return it, then protect it with what You protect Your righteous servants.
O Allah, Lord of the heavens and the earth, our Lord and Lord of all things. The One who causes the grain and the date-stone to split and sprout, the One who sent down the Torah, the Gospel, and the Quran. I seek refuge in You from the evil of everything You are seizing by its forelock. O Allah, You are the First, so there is nothing before You. You are the Last, so there is nothing after You. You are the Evident, so there is nothing above You. You are the Hidden, so there is nothing nearer than You. Grant us relief from our debt and enrich us from poverty.
In Your name, my Lord, I lay down my side. In Your name, I raise it. If You should seize my soul, then have mercy upon it. And if You should return it, then protect it with what You protect Your righteous servants.
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from His wrath and His punishment, from the evil of His servants, and from the whisperings of the devils and from their presence.
"O Allah, I ask for Your pleasure and Paradise, and I seek refuge in You from Your displeasure and the Fire."
