Duas to recite before going to sleep
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and acceptable deeds.
O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and all they cover, Lord of the seven earths and all they hold, Lord of the devils and all they mislead, Lord of the winds and all they scatter. I ask You for the good of this village (or settlement) and the good of its people, and the good of all that is within it. I seek refuge in You from its evil, and the evil of its people, and the evil of all that is within it. I seek refuge in You from the lion and from creatures that crawl, from the serpent and the scorpion, and from the evil of the crawling creatures of the earth, and from the evil of all evil-doers. I seek refuge in You from the evil of the father and what he has begotten, and from the evil of the mother and what she has begotten, and from the evil of jinn and humankind, and from the evil of every beast whose forelock You are holding. Indeed, my Lord is on a straight path.
In the name of Allah, I seek refuge in Allah the Almighty from the evil of every vein (or cause of pain), and from the evil of heat and cold.
In the name of Allah, I have laid down on my side. O Allah, forgive my sins, silence my devil, guard my private parts, make my scale heavy, and place me among the esteemed.
O Allah, I ask You for the vision of Your Prophet Muhammad ๏ทบ in a dream.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and acceptable deeds.
In Your name, my Lord, I lay down my side, and in Your name I raise it. If You take my soul, then have mercy on it. And if You keep it, then protect it with what You protect Your righteous servants.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and deeds that are accepted.
All praise is for Allah, who revived us after He caused us to die, and to Him is the resurrection.
O Allah, I seek refuge with Your Noble Face and Your Perfect Words from the accursed Satan and from (the harm of) all animals/creatures, and from my encountering dread or a thought that might torment me.
O Allah, I ask You for a righteous vision that will delight my heart and comfort my soul, and that You may show me in it what I love.
