Duas to recite before going to sleep
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from His anger and His punishment, from the evil of His creation, and from the temptations of the devils and their presence.
O Allah, I have wronged myself greatly, and none can forgive sins but You. So, forgive me with forgiveness from You, and have mercy on me. Indeed, You are the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful.
O Allah, grant me well-being in my body. O Allah, grant me well-being in my hearing. O Allah, grant me well-being in my sight. There is no god but You.
O Allah, forgive [name of deceased], raise his rank among those who are guided, and be his successor among those who remain. Forgive us and him, O Lord of the worlds, and make his grave spacious and luminous for him.
O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the torment of the grave, and from the torment of the Fire, and from the trials of life and death, and from the evil of the trial of the False Messiah (Dajjal).
In Your name, my Lord, I lay down my side, and in Your name I raise it. If You should take my soul, then have mercy upon it. And if You should return my soul, then protect it with what You protect Your righteous servants.
In Your Name, my Lord, I lay down my side, and in Your Name, I rise. If You seize my soul, have mercy upon it, and if You release it, protect it with what You protect Your righteous servants.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the demolition of Your blessings, the changing of Your protection, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all that You are displeased with. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done, and the evil of what I have not done.
In the name of Allah, I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn from the evil of all that He has created.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provisions, and acceptable deeds.
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.
O Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, our Lord and Lord of everything, the One who causes the grain and date-seeds to split and sprout, the One who revealed the Torah, the Gospel, and the Quran. I seek refuge in You from the evil of everything You are seizing by its forelock. O Allah, You are the First, so there is nothing before You. You are the Last, so there is nothing after You. You are the Mostๆพ (The Outwardly Apparent), so there is nothing above You. You are the Most Subtle (The Hidden), so there is nothing beyond You. Settle our debts for us and enrich us from poverty.
