Narrated by Abdullah bin 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both): He said, 'The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to teach them (i.e., his companions) to seek refuge with Allah from the evil of certain matters, saying: "Allahumma 'afini fi badani, Allahumma 'afini fi sam'i, Allahumma 'afini fi basari, la ilaha illa anta (O Allah, grant me well-being in my body. O Allah, grant me well-being in my hearing. O Allah, grant me well-being in my sight. There is no god but You.)" He used to repeat it three times in the morning and three times in the evening.'
