The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to seek refuge from the Jinn and the evil eye until Surah Al-Falaq and Surah An-Nas were revealed. When they were revealed, he took to reciting them for refuge and abandoned everything else. (Sahih Muslim 2708)
