Duas for sincere repentance and turning back to Allah
Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.
O Allah, indeed I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is forever established. Your justice over me is certain. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any one of Your creation, or kept hidden for Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen that is with You, that You make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the reliever of my distress.
O Allah, forgive me my mistakes, my ignorance, my extravagance in my affairs, and whatever You know better than I. O Allah, forgive me my jesting and my seriousness, my unintentional and intentional sins, my resolve and my jesting; and all of that is with me.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, and I seek refuge in You from the trial of the Dajjal, and I seek refuge in You from the trial of life and death. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from sin and debt.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardship of affliction, the attainment of wretchedness, the evil of decree, and the rejoicing of enemies.
I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the cessation of Your blessings, the reversal of Your well-being, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all of Your displeasure. And I seek refuge in You from the hardship of tribulation, the attainment of misery, the evil of fate, and the rejoicing of enemies. And I seek refuge in You from the demolition of buildings, the fall of spears, and the biting of the path.
O Allah, forgive me for all my sins, the small and the great, the first and the last, the apparent and the hidden. And repair my shortcomings with it, and pay off my debts for me. O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and richness.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the discontinuation of Your blessings, the change of Your protection, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all of Your displeasure.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the disappearance of Your blessings, the reversal of Your protection, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all of Your displeasure. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of character, deeds, and desires.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is forever executed. Your judgment upon me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to anyone of Your creation, or sent down in Your Book, or kept to Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen that You have, to make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the remover of my worries.
O Allah, indeed I have wronged myself with much wrong, and none can forgive sins except You. So, forgive me with forgiveness from You, and have mercy upon me. Indeed, You are the Forgiving, the Merciful.
