Duas for strength in old age and caring for elderly parents
O Allah, help me remember You, thank You, and worship You in the best way.
My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and [also] my offspring. Our Lord, and accept [my] supplication.
O Allah, forgive my mistakes and my ignorance, and my extravagance in my affairs, and what You know better about me than I do. O Allah, forgive me my jesting and my seriousness, and my unintentional and intentional mistakes, and what is with me (all of that) is from me. O Allah, forgive me what I have sent forth and what I have delayed, and what I have concealed and what I have declared, and what You know better about me than I do. You are the One Who sends forth and You are the One Who delays, and You are Able to do all things.
Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers the Day the account is established.
O Allah, forgive me, have mercy upon me, and join me with the Highest Companion.
O Allah, I ask You for patience in decree, relief after hardship, determination to follow the right path, blessings in all matters, and ease of life after death. I ask You for the delight of looking at Your Face and the longing to meet You, without any harmful distress or misleading trials.
O Allah, guide me among those You have guided, grant me well-being among those You have granted well-being, take me into Your care among those You have taken into Your care, bless me in what You have given, and protect me from the evil of what You have decreed. For You decree, and none can decree against You. And none can humiliate whom You have befriended. Blessed and Exalted are You, our Lord.
"O Allah, my desire is for You, and my need is humble before You. My strength has been exhausted by Your decree. So I do not conceal falsehood, nor hide the truth, nor deny blessings, nor associate anything with You. I ask You for tranquility, and I ask You for contentment after Your decree. I ask You for blessings in my life after its passing, and I ask You for closeness to You. I ask You to grant me safety and to grant safety from me [to others]. I ask You for steadfastness of the heart upon the truth, and I ask You for contentment with what You have decreed. I ask You for the glance towards Your Face, and I ask You for the longing to meet You, without causing harm or misguidance, or being led astray or leading others astray. And make me a guide, rightly guided."
My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my home as a believer and the believing men and believing women. And do not increase the wrongdoers except in destruction.
O Allah, guide us and guide our paternal uncles. O Allah, guide us and guide our paternal uncles. O Allah, guide us and guide our paternal uncles.
O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, grant me well-being, and provide for me. O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for Your pardon and Your well-being in my religion, my worldly affairs, my family, and my wealth. O Allah, conceal my shortcomings and secure my fears. O Allah, protect me from before me and behind me, from my right and from my left, and from above me, and I seek refuge in Your Magnificence from being struck from beneath me.
O Allah, Lord of mankind, remove this suffering, heal (him/her), You are the Healer. There is no healing except Your healing, a healing that leaves no illness behind.
