Duas for strength in old age and caring for elderly parents
O Allah, forgive the Muslim men and Muslim women, the believing men and believing women, those who are alive among them and those who have passed away. O Allah, have mercy upon our elders, our young ones, our men, and our women. Unite their hearts, mend the disputes between them, guide them to the paths of peace, and save them from darkness into light. Bless their hearing, their sight, their hearts, their spouses, and their offspring. Turn to them in forgiveness, for indeed You are the Ever-Relenting, the Most Merciful.
O Allah, forgive me, have mercy upon me, guide me, protect me, and provide for me.
O Allah, forgive my wife (or husband), have mercy upon her (or him), grant her (or him) security and pardon. Make her (or his) resting place honorable and spacious. Cleanse her (or him) with water, snow, and hail. Purify her (or him) from sins as a white garment is purified from dirt. Grant her (or him) a dwelling better than her (or his) dwelling, and a family better than her (or his) family, and a spouse better than her (or his) spouse. Enter her (or him) into Paradise and protect her (or him) from the torment of the grave and the torment of the Fire.
My Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up when I was young.
O Allah, forgive me for all my sins, the minor and the major, the first and the last, the apparent and the hidden. You know all of that. O Allah, fill my grave with contentment and light, and with plants and water. Make the reckoning easy for me, and make my scales heavy. Make for me a gate to Paradise and a screen from Hellfire. Make for me in Paradise bliss, and make for me in Paradise contentment, and make for me in Paradise a home. Make for me a gate to Paradise and a screen from Hellfire. Make for me in Paradise bliss, and make for me in Paradise contentment, and make for me in Paradise a home.
Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and our offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example to the righteous.
O Allah, guide me and set me right, and mention [i.e., remember and bring to mind] Your Rightness with Your Right Limb.
O Allah, forgive me, have mercy upon me, guide me, support me, grant me well-being, provide for me, and elevate me.
My Lord, grant me from among the righteous [offspring].
O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for Your pardon and Your well-being in my religious and worldly affairs, and my family and my wealth. O Allah, conceal my faults and calm my fears. O Allah, protect me from before me and from behind me, from my right and from my left, and from above me. And I seek refuge in Your Magnificence from being struck from beneath me.
O Allah, help me in remembering You, in being grateful to You, and in worshipping You in the best manner.
O Allah, forgive me, have mercy upon me, guide me, make me righteous, grant me well-being, provide for me, and elevate me.
