Duas for seeking forgiveness from Allah
I seek forgiveness from Allah, the One besides Whom there is no god, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer, and I turn to Him in repentance.
O Allah, forgive me my mistakes and my ignorance, and my excess in my affairs, and what You know better about me than I. O Allah, forgive me my jesting and my seriousness, my mistakes and my intentional sins, and what I have with me and my slips. All of that is with me.
O Allah, bestow Your prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, just as You bestowed Your prayers upon Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Verily, You are the Praiseworthy, the Glorious. And bestow Your blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, just as You bestowed Your blessings upon Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Verily, You are the Praiseworthy, the Glorious. O Allah, I have wronged myself with a great wrong, and none can forgive sins except You. So, grant me forgiveness from You and have mercy upon me. Verily, You are the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and acceptable deeds.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the demise of Your favor, the sudden change of Your well-being, the unexpectedness of Your vengeance, and all of Your displeasure.
Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the cessation of Your blessings, the reversal of Your good health, the suddenness of Your vengeance, and all of Your displeasure.
O Allah, forgive my errors, my ignorance, my extravagance in my affairs, and what You are better aware of than I. O Allah, forgive my serious mistakes and my jokes, my unintentional mistakes and my deliberate ones, and all these are with me.
I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan.
Glory be to You, O Allah, and praise be to You! I bear witness that there is no god but You. I seek Your forgiveness and turn to You in repentance.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is forever executed. Your judgment upon me is just. I ask You by every name belonging to You, which You have named Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or kept secret with You in the knowledge of the unseen: I ask that You make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, and a banisher of my sadness and a reliever of my worries.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, pure sustenance, and accepted deeds.
