Duas for seeking forgiveness from Allah
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the cessation of Your blessings, the reversal of Your well-being, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all of Your displeasure.
Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers on the Day when the account is established.
Our Lord, grant us from Yourself mercy and prepare for us from our affair rightly.
My Lord, forgive me my offense, my ignorance, and my extravagance in my affair, all of it. You know me better than I know myself, and I know myself better than You. O Allah, forgive me for what I have sent forth, and what I have delayed, and what I have concealed, and what I have made public. You are my God; there is no god but You.
O Allah, forgive my people, for they do not know.
O Allah, forgive me for what I have concealed and what I have declared, what I have erred in and what I have intentionally done, for indeed all of that is with me.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your decree concerning me is executed. Your judgment upon me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or which You have retained in the knowledge of the unseen with You, to make the Quran the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the remover of my sadness, and the banisher of my worries.
O Allah, forgive me all my sins, the minor and the major, the first and the last, the apparent and the secret.
My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my home as a believer and the believing men and believing women.
O Allah, forgive me for what I have sent forth and what I have held back, what I have done in secret and what I have done openly, and what I have exceeded in, and what You know better than I do. You are the Advancer, and You are the Delayer. There is no god but You.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the disappearance of Your blessings, the change of Your protection, the suddenness of Your vengeance, and all that You dislike. I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, from weakness and laziness, from cowardice and stinginess, and from the overwhelming of debt and the subjugation of men.
