Duas for seeking forgiveness from Allah
O Allah, forgive me all my sins, the minor and the major, the first and the last, the open and the secret.
O Allah, forgive me for what I have put forward and what I have left behind, what I have concealed and what I have disclosed, what I have exceeded in, and what You know better than I. You are the One Who brings forward and You are the One Who delays. There is no god but You.
'My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house as a believer and the believing men and believing women. And do not increase the wrongdoers except in destruction.'
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and deeds that are accepted.
There is no god but Allah, alone, without any partner. To Him belongs all sovereignty and to Him belongs all praise, and He is Omnipotent over all things.
"There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been among the wrongdoers."
O Allah, forgive the Muslim men and Muslim women, the believing men and believing women, those who are alive among them and those who have died.
My Lord, forgive me and have mercy upon me.
I seek forgiveness from Allah and I turn to Him in repentance.
O Allah, forgive me my sin, all of it, the small and the great, the first and the last, the apparent and the hidden.
O Allah, indeed I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is enacted. Your decision concerning me is just. I ask You by every Name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any one of Your creation, or kept unto Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen that is with You, to make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the reliever of my worries.
Glory be to You, O Allah, and praise be to You. I bear witness that there is no god but You. I seek Your forgiveness and I turn to You in repentance.
