Duas for protection from fear
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the cessation of Your blessings, the reversal of Your protection, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all that You are displeased with. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardship of affliction, the attainment of misery, the evil of destiny, and the rejoicing of enemies. O Allah, I ask You for steadfastness in all matters, and I ask You for the resolve of right guidance. I ask You to enable me to be grateful for Your favours and to worship You well. I ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue. I ask You for the good of what You know, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of what You know, and I seek Your forgiveness for what You know. Indeed, You are the Knower of the unseen.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is effective. Your judgment upon me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the reliever of my worries.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from grief and sadness, I seek refuge in You from weakness and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and the overpowering of men.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil character, evil deeds, and evil desires.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from poverty, scarcity, and humiliation. And I seek refuge in You from wronging others or being wronged.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the overwhelming of debt and the subjugation of men.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is executed. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, that You have taught to any one of Your creation, that You have revealed in Your Book, or that You have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, to make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the reliever of my anxiety.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the overwhelming of debt and the overpowering of men.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the perishing of Your blessings, the turning of Your well-being, the suddenness of Your vengeance, and all of Your displeasure.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the cessation of Your blessings, and the change of Your protection, and the suddenness of Your vengeance, and all of Your displeasure. And I seek refuge in You from the causes that bring Your mercy and the resolutions of Your forgiveness. And I seek refuge in You from the evil of what the night and day have brought forth, and I seek refuge in You from every nighttime visitor, except for a nighttime visitor who comes with good, O Most Merciful.
O Turner of the hearts, keep my heart firm on Your religion.
O Turner of the hearts, make my heart firm upon Your religion.
