Duas for protection from fear
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the passing away of Your blessings, and from the change of Your protection, and from the sudden punishment, and from all Your displeasure. And I seek refuge in You from the trial of the grave, and I seek refuge in You from the trial of wealth, and I seek refuge in You from the trial of poverty, and I seek refuge in You from the trial of the Dajjal. O Allah, cleanse my heart with the water of snow and hail, and purify my heart from sins, just as You purified the white garment from dirt, and keep me far from my sins as You have kept the East and the West far apart. O Allah, I ask You for guidance, and piety, and chastity, and richness.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, from incapacity and laziness, from cowardice and miserliness, from the burden of debt and from being overpowered by men.
O Allah, I ask You for steadfastness in all affairs, and determination to follow guidance. I ask You for the deeds that bring about Your mercy, and the things that secure Your forgiveness. I ask You to grant me gratitude for Your blessings, and excellence in worshipping You. I ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue. I ask You for the good of what You know, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of what You know. I seek Your forgiveness for what You know. Indeed, You are the Knower of all unseen matters.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, from weakness and laziness, from miserliness and cowardice, from the burden of debts and from being overpowered by men.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the cessation of Your blessings, the reversal of Your protection, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all of Your displeasure. I seek refuge in You from the trials of the grave, and I seek refuge in You from the trials of wealth, and I seek refuge in You from the trials of poverty, and I seek refuge in You from the trials of the Dajjal. O Allah, cleanse my heart with water, snow, and hail. Purify me from my sins as a white garment is purified from dirt. And distance me from my sins as far as You have distanced the East and the West.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the demise of Your favors, and the change of Your protection, and the suddenness of Your punishment, and all of Your displeasure. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from these.
O Allah, I hope for Your mercy. Do not leave me to myself for even the blink of an eye, and set all my affairs right for me. There is no god but You.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female-servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is forever enacted. Your justice over me is forever true. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to any of Your creation, or sent down in Your Book, or kept in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Quran the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the reliever of my worries.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, from weakness and laziness, from cowardice and stinginess, from being overwhelmed by debt and overpowered by men.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, from a heart that does not fear (You), from a soul that is not satisfied, and from a supplication that is not answered. O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and self-sufficiency.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female-servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is inevitable. Your justice in my regard is fair. I ask You by every Name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or kept to Yourself in the hidden knowledge of the unseen: make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the remover of my worries, and my guide to Your Paradise and my salvation from the Fire.
In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing on earth or in the heavens can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
