Duas during times of difficulty and hardship
Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, and I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, and I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from being overcome by debt and being dominated by men.
O Allah, I ask You for its goodness, the goodness of its people, and the goodness of what is in it. And I seek refuge in You from its evil, the evil of its people, and the evil of what is in it. O Allah, grant me lawful and pure provision.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, from a heart that does not fear You, from a soul that is never satisfied, and from a supplication that is not answered.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any one of Your creation, or kept unto Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen which You possess, to make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the reliever of my anxiety.
O Allah, I ask You for its [the wind's] good and the good of what it contains, and the good of what it was sent with. And I seek refuge in You from its evil and the evil of what it contains, and the evil of what it was sent with.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, and I seek refuge in You from the trial of the Dajjal, and I seek refuge in You from the trial of life and death. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of my sight, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of my tongue, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of my heart, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of my semen (or desires/procreative power).
O Allah, there is no ease except what You make easy. You make the difficult easy if You wish.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective, and Your judgment over me is just. I ask You by every Name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to anyone in Your creation, or You taught to any of Your creation, or You have preserved in Your knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the remover of my worries.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and the subjugation of men.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and acceptable deeds.
O Allah, I ask You of Your Grace, for indeed, no one possesses it except You.
