Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (ﷺ) was asked, 'How should we ask for rain?' He replied, 'Ask for rain like this: Allahumma aghithna, Allahumma aghithna, Allahumma aghithna (O Allah, grant us rain! O Allah, grant us rain! O Allah, grant us rain!).' Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) also narrated that on the occasion of the invasion of Medina by the Quraish, the Prophet (ﷺ) said, 'O Allah, let them be defeated and do not let them overcome us. O Allah, let them be defeated and do not let them overcome us.'
