Duas for relief from anxiety, worry, and distress
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, from helplessness and laziness, from cowardice and stinginess, and from the burden of debt and the overpowering of men.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and acceptable deeds.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the overwhelming of debt and the overpowering of men.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, and I seek refuge in You from the trial of the Dajjal (Antichrist), and I seek refuge in You from the trial of life and death. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from sin and debt.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief. I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness. I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess. I seek refuge in You from being overwhelmed by debt and from the domination of men.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is effective. Your judgment concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or taught to any one of Your creation, or revealed in Your Book, or preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Quran the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the remover of my anxiety.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is forever executed. Your judgement upon me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to any of Your creation, or sent down in Your Book, or have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, and a banisher of my sadness, and a reliever of my anxiety.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is inevitable, and Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or that You have taught to anyone from Your creation, or that You have revealed in Your Book, or that You have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sorrow, and the remover of my anxieties.
O Allah, I have submitted myself to You, and turned my face to You, and entrusted my affair to You, and sought refuge in You, desiring and fearing You. There is no refuge or safety from You except in You. I believe in the Book You have revealed and the Prophet You have sent.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from being overwhelmed by debt and from being overcome by men.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is unfailing. Your justice in my case is inevitable. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to anyone from Your creation, or sent down in Your Book, or kept secret in the knowledge of the unseen with You, to make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the remover of my grief, and the banisher of my worry.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the disappearance of Your blessings, the change of Your protection, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all that displeases You.
