Duas for relief from anxiety, worry, and distress
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, from helplessness and laziness, from cowardice and miserliness, and from the heavy burden of debt and the overpowering of men.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, from inability and laziness, from stinginess and cowardice, and from the burden of debt and from being overpowered by men.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the cessation of Your blessings, the reversal of Your protection, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all that displeaces You. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, from weakness and laziness, from cowardice and stinginess, and from being overcome by debt and being subjugated by men.
O Allah, we place You before them, and we seek refuge in You from their evils.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your decree is to befall me. Your judgment upon me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or taught to any one of Your creation, or revealed in Your Book, or have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Quran the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the remover of my worries.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, and I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, and I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and the oppression of men.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the distress of thinking, the sorrow of planning, the hardship of fate, and the rejoicing of enemies.
"O Allah, I take refuge in You from worry and grief, and I take refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, and I take refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I take refuge in You from the overwhelming of debt and the subjugation of men."
There is no deity but You; exalted are You! Indeed, I have been among the wrongdoers.
Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective. Your judgment upon me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or kept to Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen which You possess, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the remover of my worries.
There is no might nor power except with Allah.
