Our Lord, pour down on us patience and let us die as Muslims (in submission to You).
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, and I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, and I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and the overpowering of men.
O Allah, I take refuge in You from worry and grief, and I take refuge in You from weakness and laziness, and I take refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I take refuge in You from being overwhelmed by debt and being overcome by men.
In the name of Allah we enter, and in the name of Allah we leave, and upon our Lord we rely.
O Allah, teach me the Book and wisdom.
O Allah, have mercy upon me with Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful.
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. O Allah, I ask You for its good, and the good of what it contains, and I seek refuge in You from its evil, and the evil of what it contains.
O Turner of the hearts, make my heart firm upon Your religion.
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from His anger and His punishment, and from the evil of His servants, and from the whisperings of devils, and from their being present.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the overwhelming of debt and the overpowering of men.
All praise is due to Allah Who has clothed me with this (garment) and provided it for me without any power or strength on my part.
All praise is due to Allah, [in] a praise that is abundant, pure, and blessed, and [praise] that is indispensable, permanent, and from which we are never in need of our Lord.
