In the name of Allah. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the male and female devils (or evil and wicked things).
O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in my religion, my worldly affairs, my family, and my property. O Allah, conceal my faults and allay my fears. O Allah, protect me from my front and my back, from my right and my left, and from above me. And I seek refuge in Your Magnificence from being taken from beneath me.
My Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up when I was young.
All praise is for Allah for His blessings and His grace.
O Allah, protect me with Islam, whether I am standing, sitting, or sleeping, and do not let an enemy or an envious person rejoice over me. O Allah, I ask You for Your bounty which never ends, and I seek refuge in You from Your evil which never ends. O Allah, I ask You for faith and certainty against torment. O Allah, I ask You to bless me with Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds which will bring me closer to You.
I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, with Islam as my religion, and with Muhammad (peace be upon him) as my Prophet.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the disappearance of Your blessings, the change of Your protection, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all of Your displeasure.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, and from the evil of my sight, and from the evil of my tongue, and from the evil of my heart, and from the evil of my semen.
Allah – there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all being]. Neither slumber nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from poverty, from scarcity, and from humiliation. And I seek refuge in You from wronging others or being wronged.
My Lord, indeed I seek refuge in You, lest I ask of You that of which I have no knowledge. And unless You forgive me and have mercy upon me, I will be among the losers.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your decree concerning me is inevitable, and Your judgment upon me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or taught to any one of Your creation, or revealed in Your Book, or have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the reliever of my distress.
