In the name of Allah we enter, and in the name of Allah we leave, and in Allah, our Lord, we put our trust.
O Allah, feed the one who fed me, and give drink to the one who gave me drink.
O Allah, I seek Your guidance through Your knowledge, and I seek ability through Your power. I ask of You Your magnificent grace, for You have power, and I have no power; You have knowledge, and I have no knowledge; and You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah, if You know that this matter - [mention the matter here] - is good for me in my religion, my livelihood, and the end of my affairs (or: in my present and future), then decree it for me, make it easy for me, and bless it for me. And if You know that this matter - [mention the matter here] - is bad for me in my religion, my livelihood, and the end of my affairs (or: in my present and future), then turn it away from me, and turn me away from it, and decree for me whatever is good, and make me pleased with it.
My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my home as a believer and all believing men and women.
O Turner of the hearts, make my heart firm upon Your religion and Your obedience.
O Allah, You have made my form beautiful, so make my character beautiful as well.
Seeking Your forgiveness. All praise is due to Allah, Who removed from me the harm and granted me well-being.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is inevitable. Your justice in my regard is absolute. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or that You have taught to any of Your creation, or that You have revealed in Your Book, or that You have kept to Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Quran the springtime of my heart, and the light of my chest, and a banisher of my sadness, and a reliever of my anxiety.
My Lord, increase me in knowledge.
O Allah, I ask You from Your grace.
O Allah, help me to remember You, to thank You, and to worship You in the best way.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the demise of Your blessings, the reversal of Your protection, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all that displeases You. I seek refuge in You from the hardships of trials, the attainment of misery, the evil of destiny, and the rejoicing of enemies. And I seek refuge in You from evil manners, deeds, and desires.
