O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief. I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness. I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess. And I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and the overpowering of men.
O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for Your pardon and Your well-being in my religion, my worldly affairs, my family, and my wealth. O Allah, conceal my weaknesses and secure my fears. O Allah, protect me from my front and from behind me, from my right and from my left, and from above me. I seek refuge in Your Greatness lest I be consumed from beneath me.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forehead is in Your hand. Your command over me is effective. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name You have called Yourself, or revealed to any of Your creation, or sent down in Your Book, or kept unto Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen that You have, to make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the reliever of my worries.
My Lord, indeed I seek refuge in You, lest I ask of You that of which I have no knowledge. And unless You forgive me and have mercy upon me, I will be among the losers.
O Allah, I ask You for a lasting blessing, which does not cease or change, by Your mercy, O Most Merciful of those who show mercy.
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from His anger and His punishment, and from the evil of His servants, and from the evil suggestions of devils and from their presence.
O Allah, forgive me my every sin, the minor and the major, the first and the last, the apparent and the hidden. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, from a heart that does not fear You, from a soul that is not satisfied, and from a prayer that is not answered. O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and contentment.
In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, and there is no might nor power except with Allah.
In Your name, my Lord, I lay down my side, and in Your name I rise. If You take my soul, have mercy on it, and if You restore it, protect it with what You protect Your righteous servants. O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and acceptable deeds.
O Allah, I seek guidance from Your knowledge, and strength from Your power, and I ask of Your abundant grace. For indeed, You have power and I have no power; You have knowledge and I have no knowledge; and You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah, if You know that this matter (mention your matter here) is good for me in my religion, my worldly life, and my hereafter (or in my present and future affairs), then ordain it for me, make it easy for me, and bless it for me. And if You know that this matter is evil for me in my religion, my worldly life, and my hereafter (or in my present and future affairs), then turn it away from me and turn me away from it, and ordain for me whatever is good, and make me pleased with it.
In Allah's name we enter, and in Allah's name we exit, and in Allah our Lord we place our trust.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and the oppression of men.
