O Allah, You have made my form beautiful, so make my character beautiful as well.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught this dua. Although the specific narration in Musnad Ahmad (17649) states: 'Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to say: "O Allah, You have made my form beautiful, so make my character beautiful as well."' This is a mursal hadith from Musnad Ahmad. It is also reported in some other collections with similar wording and meaning, indicating its authenticity in spirit.
