Find authentic duas from the Quran & Sunnah
O Allah, to You I complain of my weakness, my lack of resourcefulness, and my humiliation. O Most Merciful of the merciful! You are the Lord of the weak, and You are my Lord. To whom do You entrust me? To a distant stranger who frowns at me? Or to an enemy whom You have given power over me? If You are not angry with me, then I do not care. But Your well-being is more expansive for me. I seek refuge in the light of Your Face, by which the darkness is illuminated, and the affairs of this world and the hereafter are set right, from Your anger descending upon me, or Your wrath befalling me. I turn to You until You are pleased, and there is no might nor power except with You.
O Allah, fulfill for me what You have promised me. O Allah, give me what You have promised me. O Allah, if this band of Muslims perishes, You will not be worshipped on earth.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardship of affliction, the attainment of misery, the evil of decree, and the rejoicing of enemies.
O Allah, make him a guide, rightly guided, give him the Book, and strengthen him in the religion.
O Ali, shall I not teach you words by which you call upon Allah, if all the mountains were a debt upon you, Allah would pay it off for you? Say: Glory be to Allah the Mighty and praise be to Him. Glory be to Allah the Mighty. O Allah, I ask You for the doing of good deeds, and the leaving of evil deeds, and the love of the poor, and that You forgive me and have mercy on me. And when You intend for Your servants a trial, take me to Yourself without being subjected to it. O Allah, I ask You for the doing of good deeds, and the leaving of evil deeds, and the love of the poor, and that You forgive me and have mercy on me. O Allah, You know that no one prevents access to this House (the Ka'bah). O Allah, do not let it remain unoccupied tonight. O Allah, release its bonds. O Allah, make its conquest easy. O Allah, I ask You for the good within it and the good that You have brought with it. And I seek refuge in You from its evil and the evil that You have brought with it. O Allah, release its bonds.
O Allah, I ask You to enable me to do good deeds, and to abandon evil deeds, and to love the poor. I ask You to forgive me and have mercy on me. And when You intend to put a people to trial, take me to Yourself without putting me to trial. I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds which bring me closer to Your love.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge.
O Allah, help me remember You, thank You, and worship You in the best manner.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from grief and distress, I seek refuge in You from incapacitation and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the overwhelming of debt and the subjugation of men.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of Hellfire, and I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, and I seek refuge in You from the trial of the Dajjal, and I seek refuge in You from the trial of wealth and children.
Glory be to Allah, and praise be to Allah, and there is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest, and there is no might nor power except with Allah.
