O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and the overpowering of men.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is forever enacted. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to any of Your creation, or sent down in Your Book, or have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, and the light of my chest, and a banisher of my sorrow, and a reliever of my worries.
O Turner of the hearts, keep my heart firm upon Your religion and upon Your obedience.
O Allah, benefit me with what You have taught me, teach me that which will benefit me, and increase me in knowledge.
O Allah, help me to remember You, to thank You, and to worship You in the best way.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, pure provisions, and deeds that are accepted.
In the name of Allah.
O Allah, (make it) a beneficial rain.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, pure provision, and accepted deeds.
O Allah, suffice me against them, by whatever means You wish.
O Allah, I ask You for the best of the entrance and the best of the exit. In Allah's name we enter, in Allah's name we leave, and in Allah, our Lord, we trust.
O Allah, suffice me with Your lawful provision instead of Your unlawful provision, and enrich me with Your bounty, so that I may not need to seek from anyone other than You.
