Glory be to Him Who controls the night and the day, the sun and the moon; each is floating in an orbit.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the decline of Your blessings, the reversal of Your well-being, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all that displeases You. And I seek refuge in You from the evil of character, deeds, and desires.
O Allah, benefit us by what You have taught us, and teach us what is beneficial for us, and increase us in knowledge.
All praise is due to Allah, by Whose grace righteous deeds are completed.
O Allah, Inspirer of correctness, guide my life partner to what is right, and direct them to the straight path. Adorn them with wisdom and knowledge, and assist them in mastering their skill/talent [mention the skill or talent]. Make them among Your excellent servants who will have no fear nor grief.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, and I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, and I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and from being overcome by men.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from being overcome by debt and overpowered by men.
O Allah, forgive me my mistakes and my ignorance, and my excess in my affairs, and what You know better about me than I do. O Allah, forgive me my jesting and my seriousness, my errors and my deliberate acts, and what I have [done] within me and my sin. All of that is with me. O Allah, forgive me what I have sent forth and what I have delayed, and what I have concealed and what I have revealed, and what You know better about me than I do. You are the One Who sends forth and the One Who delays; You have power over all things.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the cessation of Your blessings, the change of Your protection, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all Your displeasure. I seek refuge in You from cowardice. I seek refuge in You from being overcome in my affairs. I seek refuge in You from going astray or being led astray, from slipping or causing others to slip, from wronging others or being wronged, from acting ignorantly or being treated ignorantly. I seek refuge in You from decrepitude. I seek refuge in You from being humiliated by people. O Allah, Lord of Jibril, Mika'il, and Israfil, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the seen and the unseen, You judge between Your servants concerning that wherein they differ. Guide me to the truth that is disputed, by Your leave. Indeed, You guide whomever You will to a straight path.
All praise is for Allah Who gave us life after death, and to Him is the return.
O Allah, forgive him and have mercy upon him, grant him well-being and pardon him. Honor his resting place and make his entrance spacious. Wash him with water, snow, and hail. Purify him from sins as a white garment is purified from dirt. Exchange his home for a better home, his family for a better family, and his spouse for a better spouse. Enter him into Paradise and protect him from the punishment of the grave and the punishment of the Fire.
O Allah, benefit me with what You have taught me, and teach me what is beneficial for me, and increase me in knowledge.
