All praise is due to Allah, by Whose grace righteous deeds are completed.

It was narrated from 'Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that when any good matter pleased the Prophet (peace be upon him), he would say: 'Alhamdulillahil-ladhi bi ni'matihi tatimmus-salihat.' And when any matter distressed him, he would say: 'Alhamdulillah 'ala kulli hal.' (All praise is due to Allah in all circumstances).
