Narrated Hudhaifa: When the Prophet (ﷺ) would wake up, he used to say: 'Al-hamdu lillahil-ladhi ahyaana ba'da ma amaatana wa ilaihin-nushoor' (All praise is for Allah Who gave us life after death, and to Him is the return). (Sahih al-Bukhari 6306). The concept of 'ahyaana ba'da ma amaatana' also relates to the spiritual awakening that comes with embracing Islam and following the guidance of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
