O Allah, forgive my wife (or husband), guide her (or him), have mercy upon her (or him), grant her (or him) repentance and contentment, and accept from us, O Most Merciful of the merciful.
There is no deity worthy of worship except You. Glory be to You! Indeed, I have been among the wrongdoers.
Affliction has touched me, and you are the Most Merciful of the merciful.
O Allah, forgive me for what I have committed and what I will commit, what I have done in secret and what I have done openly, what I have exceeded, and what You know better than I. You are the Advancer and You are the Delayer. There is no god but You.
O Allah, cause me to die a Muslim and join me with the righteous.
In the name of Allah, with Whose name nothing on Earth or in the heavens can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the torment of Hellfire, from the torment of the grave, from the trials of life and death, and from the evil of the trial of the False Messiah (Dajjal).
By Your name, my Lord, I lie down on my side. By Your name, I rise. If You seize my soul, have mercy on it, and if You release it, protect it with what You protect Your righteous servants.
O Allah, forgive me my sin, all of it, the minor and the major, the first and the last, the apparent and the hidden.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the overpowering of debt and the subjugation of men.
O Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy.
O Allah, I ask You for the goodness of this [new situation/place], the goodness of its people, and the goodness of what it contains, and I seek refuge in You from its evil, the evil of its people, and the evil of what it contains.
