O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every Name that You have named Yourself with, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or have kept unto Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen. I ask that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the reliever of my worries.
In the name of Allah. O Allah, bless us in what You have provided us, forgive us and have mercy upon us.
"O Allah, feed him who fed me and give drink to him who gave me drink."
My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house as a believer and the believing men and believing women.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, from incapacity and laziness, from cowardice and stinginess, and from being overcome by debt and by the oppression of men.
Our Lord, grant us from among our spouses and our offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example to the righteous.
O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and self-sufficiency.
All praise is due to Allah, who brought us back to life after causing us to die, and to Him is the resurrection.
Our Lord, accept [this] from us. Indeed, You are the Hearing, the Knowing.
O Allah, I ask You for its goodness, and I seek refuge in You from its evil.
