O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and contentment, and I seek refuge in You from evil.
All praise is due to Allah Who has clothed me with this garment and provided it for me, without any power or strength on my part.
Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and our offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example to the righteous.
O Allah, guide me and set me right, and mention [i.e., remember and bring to mind] Your Rightness with Your Right Limb.
O Allah, suffice me with what You have made lawful, instead of what You have made unlawful, and enrich me with Your bounty, so that I may not need help from anyone other than You.
O Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy.
All praise is due to Allah, by Whose grace righteous deeds are completed.
May Allah bless you in your gift, may you (the baby) give thanks to the Giver (Allah), may he reach the age of maturity, and may you be granted his righteousness.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, pure provisions, and deeds that are accepted.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the disappearance of Your blessings, the change of Your protection, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all that You are displeased with. And I seek refuge in You from the hardship of affliction, the attainment of misery, the evil of fate, and the rejoicing of enemies.
