الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي كَسَانِي هَذَا الثَّوْبَ وَرَزَقَنِيهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ حَوْلٍ مِنِّي وَلَا قُوَّةٍ
All praise is due to Allah Who has clothed me with this garment and provided it for me, without any power or strength on my part.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'When any one of you performs ablution and then says: 'Glory be to Allah, and praise be to Allah, there is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest,' it will be erased all the sins of his gathering (i.e., the place where he said it), and when he performs ablution and says: 'I testify that there is no god but Allah Alone, without any partner, and I testify that Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger,' the eight gates of Paradise will be opened for him, and he may enter from whichever he likes. And when he wears a garment and says: 'Glory be to Allah, and praise be to Allah, there is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest,' all his sins will be erased, and when he wears a garment and says: 'All praise is due to Allah Who has clothed me with this garment and provided it for me, without any power or strength on my part,' all his previous sins will be forgiven.'
