How to Read
Recite this dua with sincere intention and a hopeful heart. Raise your hands if you are praying alone or in a setting that allows for it. Focus on each word, truly asking Allah for these three essential things: knowledge that benefits, sustenance that is pure, and deeds that He accepts.
Virtues & Benefits
This concise yet comprehensive dua asks for three foundational elements of a righteous life. Beneficial knowledge guides us; pure provisions sustain us without causing harm or doubt; and accepted deeds are the very purpose of our worship, ensuring our efforts are not in vain. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ would often make this dua in the morning, and its essence is equally vital for seeking strength and acceptance as the day ends.

Narrated by Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her): The wife of the Prophet (ﷺ) said: 'Whenever the Prophet (ﷺ) uttered a supplication, he would repeat it three times, and when he asked for something, he would ask for it three times. And whenever he said: "Allahumma inni as'aluka 'ilman nafi'an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa 'amalan mutaqabbalan" (O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, pure provisions, and accepted deeds), he would repeat it three times.'
