Duas related to traveling
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and acceptable deeds.
Glory be to Him Who has subjected this to us, and we could never have accomplished it by ourselves. And indeed, we will return to our Lord.
O Allah, bless it for me.
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.
O Allah, You are the Companion during the journey and the Guardian of the family.
O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and all that they cover, Lord of the seven earths and all that they hold, Lord of the devils and all that they mislead, Lord of the winds and all that they scatter. I ask You for the goodness of this village (or he said: this city) and the goodness of its people, and the goodness of whatever is in it. And I seek refuge in You from its evil, and the evil of its people, and the evil of whatever is in it.
Glory be to Him Whom the thunder glorifies by praising Him, and the angels [do so] out of awe of Him.
Glory be to Him Who has subjected this (means of transport) to us, and we were not able to do it ourselves. And to our Lord we are surely returning. O Allah, we ask You on this journey of ours for goodness and piety, and for deeds that please You. O Allah, make this journey easy for us and make its distance short for us. O Allah, You are the Companion during the journey and the One Who takes care of the family. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardships of the journey, and from seeing a miserable sight in my family and property.
Glory be to Him Who has subjected this to us, and we could never have accomplished it by ourselves. And indeed, we are to our Lord to return. O Allah, we ask You for righteousness and piety in our journey, and for deeds that please You. O Allah, make this journey easy for us, and make its distance short for us. O Allah, You are the Companion on the journey and the Successor in the family. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardships of travel, and the sorrow of returning, and from seeing misfortune in our family, wealth, and children.
O Allah, guide me to the best of characters, for none can guide to the best of them except You. And turn me away from bad characters, for none can turn away bad characters from me except You.
O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and all they shade, Lord of the seven earths and all they carry, Lord of the devils and all they lead astray, Lord of the winds and all they scatter, I ask You for the good of this village and the good of its people, and the good of all that is in it. I seek refuge in You from the evil of this village, and the evil of its people, and the evil of all that is in it.
O Allah, lengthen for us Your walls, suffice us from Your trials, and cause us to die unto You in a state of uprightness, and bestow upon us Your blessings in Your land.
