Narrated by Abdullah ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both): The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When a merchant makes a purchase and sale, they should say: La ilaha illallah wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu yuhyi wa yumitu wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in qadir (There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner, His is the dominion and His is the praise, He gives life and causes death, and He is Powerful over all things). And they should say: Allahumma barik li fi amri (O Allah, bless my transaction). And they should say: Asta'ji'u billahi min ash-shaytanir-rajeem (I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan).' (This hadith has additional phrases, but the relevant part for a purchase is emphasized here).
